Kerguelen Plateau

Heard Island (53°06'S, 73°30'E) and the McDonald Islands (53°03'S, 72°36'E) are a World Heritage Site in the southern Indian Ocean, on the Kerguelen Plateau, 4,100 kilometers (km) south-west of the Australian continent and 1,500 km north of Antarctica.
